The Dodgers’ split squad roster that will face their Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Class A affiliate in a seven-inning exhibition game Thursday night at The Epicenter will be a representative group, it turns out. Regulars Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford and Luis Cruz will make the bus trip to Rancho for the 6 p.m. game, along with Jerry Hairston Jr. and Juan Uribe. Plus former Quake Yasiel Puig, who was sent down to Class AA Chattanooga earlier this week.
Hall of Fame Tom Lasorda will return to the dugout for one night as Dodgers manager. The other half of the Dodgers’ squad, along with Don Mattingly and his staff, will be in Anaheim for the first game of the Freeway Series with the Angels at 7 p.m.
